Hi all, recently picked up a 1992 honda cb1 400. It was left in a shed for the past 4 years until I picked her up last weekend. Would have a fair knowledge of how engines work etc but nothing about restoring bikes to get them back into a running state.

As of now I have 1): All fairings off.
2): Fuel tank off and drained.
3): Plugs out which are a black/gold colour.

How do I check to see if the engine is turning over ? Dont wont to be pumping money into something that wont run as college has me skint at the moment.Any other suggestions would be grateful :thumbsup2:

Already a week and i’ve managed to break something on my poor RVF. 🙁

Dipped beams not working, High beams and indicators all good.
One thing i hate dealing with is electrics…last time i got a bulb replaced on my GN 125 the feckers put in a bulb which was too powerful and caused all sorts of problems that i still dont understand.

If its not a simple fix (bulb blown/fuse) is this mega money to get fixed?
